Mr Olawale Olarinde explained clearly to me the different options to be considered when my throat lump had been diagnosed. He gave me time to consider what I wanted to do and I particularly appreciated the facts that he clarified the probabilities of likely outcomes and that he made clear his opinion of the best choice of action for me to take. The consultation process was professional and friendly. Once I had decided to have the operation, the date was quickly set within a very short timeframe. At all times each stage of the process was clearly explained to me and I was given opportunities to ask questions.
I was kept well informed in hospital, both prior to and after the operation. I wish, once again, to extend my thanks to Mr Olarinde and all the staff at Chesterfield Royal involved in my treatment for the high standard of their professionalism and care.

I found the whole experience pleasant and re-assuring. The consultation happened in a very relaxed atmosphere. I've been asked some questions about my health and we talked through my current symptoms.
After an examination of my ears, nose and throat has been carried out. Finally we discussed the possible options and next steps.
